Which guilty pleasures do u spend $$ on?

Hi All,

For me it's lotto, poker machines and hotel stays.

Ive been lucky and won small sums of money which entice me to go back for more. I've been one number short of a first division lotto win twice. I've also won the venues $1000 win while playing a pokie.

I like change which is the reason for my hotel stays. I usually stay for one or two nights to explore a new area.

What are your guilty pleasures?

Taking the guilt out of buying is a great idea. I love that you give to homeless ppl and that you're no longer with the ex and rebuilding a new life. I've come a long way myself...from slightly depending on a man, to being fully independent. It's a really good feeling when you have a little financial freedom to splurge.

Oh vroooom....I used to love being on the back of my ex's bike in my 20's... adrenaline rushed freedom. Enjoy. Very clever to know how to rebuild a bike.

My guilty pleasure would be buying teeny fairy lights and filling my room with them!

PS... we should never feel guilty about self-care or things that bring us joy and are good for us, especially in times like these folks!

omg TAY100 I LOVE Fairy lights! I helped my daughter put up fairy lights in the rafters of her back porch tonight and when we lit them up it was like a WARM HUG. I am so doing this on my balcony lol!

Monkey I think the shops will benefit ALOT from this thread lololol.

I'm SO JEALOUS of Matchy having motor bikes and KNOWING how to restore them.... I just wanna be Matchy.

If I'm having a pretty average feeling morning on my day off, I love getting a chai latte anywhere and going to he waterfront to watch the water & people to drink it.

Since the fires I don’t feel guilty about buying .

. Most things are from op shop so I feel good I am helping charities.I

I used to have a collection if old teddies. Now i have more recent ones that appeal to me and a few monkeys as I collected them too.

my soft toys give me comfort. No guilt just pleasure.

I took great pleasure in visiting a Charitable Op Shop Warehouse a few weeks ago and went quite wild lol... in buying things. ex from here smashed so many of my precious things, family heirlooms etc...

But I made closure with that by knowing the MOST precious things survived. The kids.

I bought lovely crystal bowls and a warm Winter coat and more for the kids, grandkids and I.

Zero guilt. Only pleasure lol.

Hello Everyone, bags of snickers, mars bars, picnics and the caramel squares, naughty naughty, and I can't go past them in the supermarket without buying them.

Mum used to cough every time she ate chocolate and unfortunately so do I and when she made a cake, years ago, she wondered why it didn't rise, I ate half the mixture, until one day she caught me.

I have to do 3 horrible calls on my days off... ugh.... so I am putting BUYING Fairy lights and hammer in hooks on my happy list after one of the calls (I have to space the calls out to manage).

I can't wait to see the Fairy lights up and sparkling away above my head on the balcony. 😂🤣😂😎

When I made cake and my children were small it was a fight who got the spoon and who got the bowl...Nowadays if I make a cake I get both of them...😂

I will never refuse a chocolate..I like them best in summer, when they start melting..

I often buy curly wurlys, chewy sticky caramel inside chocolate...
