Not in a good space

It's like a feeling just bubbling up to the surface. It's panicky and disgusting and I dont' know what to do with it. There's no thoughts associated with it. It's a feeling. A really gross one. I called the Suicide Call Back service. I didn't find them helpful. What do you do? What helps you?

Well perhaps what you've said on your thread, Hanna, will explain why I'm feeling low and in need of a hug. I've reached the end of prac and feel I should be excited, as I wasn't sure I'd make it, but instead I feel all not quite right.

At least the sun is shining, and the thought of you and Paws in the fridge is cheerful x

Hello Katy,

Lass don't worry that you aren't feeling the excitement you perhaps thought you would on passing. You have been through a lot & really battled all through this year just to reach this point. You have been running on all your strength & energy just to get through your studies, so naturally now at the end you are going to feel drained, a bit empty, flat & possibly even down.

I will happily swap your cool weather for the heat we are expecting here later this week. It's strange I never think of WA as being cool, though of course it is sometimes. It definitely wasn't cool there the one time I visited there for two very warm though enjoyable weeks back in the late 80s.

Hugs

Paws

Hi Katy,

I think Paws is right, when you finish something big there's always a kind of let-down period. I think you'll feel better once you start doing some things you enjoy like the yoga and beach and get used to not studying for a while!

Terribly hot here. Take care oxox

Hi Hanna, Katy, Paws, and others.

I'm just popping in to say hello, and that I love all of your profile pictures. I hope I'm not interrupting, I do apologise if I am.

I'll be around, since I'm back on the forums after a while, if anyone wishes to chat. I have my own thread I'll stick to if you wish to check it out. No pressure to reply to me anywhere.

Take care all, just wanted to say hello, that's all. I'll leave you all be here. I hope you've all been well.

- Tayla.

Oh, the 80's ❤️ Can we go back? Everything seemed so simple then. I was wearing fluffy knitted leg warmers and trying to master my hula hoop! How wonderful 🙂

Lovely to see you again, Tay. Hope you're doing ok.

Katy x

Hey Katy, thank you. Lovely to see you again too.

I'll be around if any of you here want to chat, on other threads.

Take care all.

- Tayla

I recognise I'm not in a good spot mentally, when I spend a lot of time in here. I think it might be related to the Meghan Markle story that's everywhere at the moment. I'm sure it's triggering. And seeing my ex today, all happy with someone else is like the icing...

Wish I had somewhere to go, or someone to call, when things don't feel pretty. Just too many pets and too many plants that don't fill the void.

Hi Katy

just saying hello and thankyou for helping out on one of my threads...I just noticed I feel the same way you do where spending a lot of time here is concerned ....Thats a good point Katy

I hear you about 'filling the void'

kindest - Paul

Hello Katy,

Lass I'm not surprised you are finding the Markle story upsetting... seeing you ex on top of that was really what you didn't need... if something hits a nerve & brings our grief to the surface, it's natural to feel horrible... lass your losses are still so very recent... it's ok to cry... you still have your love for Zea... you always will...

Let it all out... then try and remember your little girl with smiles...

Gentlest of hugs

Paws

Hi Katy, I am so sorry you are feeling down. I'm sure the Megan story would have started things off again for you, sad memories. Also seeing your ex happy with someone else was not good timing for you on top of it.

Just to let you know people here are thinking of you and sending softest hugs oxoxoxo
