Not in a good space

It's like a feeling just bubbling up to the surface. It's panicky and disgusting and I dont' know what to do with it. There's no thoughts associated with it. It's a feeling. A really gross one. I called the Suicide Call Back service. I didn't find them helpful. What do you do? What helps you?

Hiya

Stressful week trying to get a lot done before my meeting with my supervisor today. But... I PASSED!!! Was so nervous I wouldn't and would have to repeat or quit. What a relief! Still some work to finish off so will end prac some time next week. But all in all - yay!!!

I've put some fancy plants on hold at the nursery in celebration 🙂

Sorry about your hot weather! I adore the heat, but no sign of it here. Take care x

Hello Katy

YAY!!! Happy Dance.... 💃💃💃 well done lass....

Thanks Paws!!!

Hi Katy,

Well what good news, you successfully PASSED! Yay! You can relax at last and take a deep breath! Definitely sounds like a time for new plants for the garden!!! Well done you!

Go girl!

Cheers from me and little Sam!!!!! oxoxoxooxoxoxo

And I know that Wendell Berry quote you left.. I still have his book What Are People For? to read... eeek.

It's a lovely quote isn't it? oxoxoxo

Thankyou x

I just googled Berry, and read a Vox article about him. He sounds really interesting. I might have to look into some of his works.

Did you find something to read yet Katy? You might enjoy Wallace Stegner's novel Remembering Laughter if you can find it - based on his & his wife's friendship with another college lecturer & his wife when he was younger - a sweet novel (American). I think he and Wendell Berry influenced each other or something like that...cheers. Do you read Helen Garner at all?

I'm almost at the finish line, where I'll have time to read for pleasure! At the moment I'm reading about radical adult education, as part of my uni work I'm finishing off.

I thought of you though, and just wanted to pop in and say - I just came across a picture of a corgi napping in the fridge lol. It made me think of you guys, and I wonder if Sam has thought of napping in the fridge? Hope you're coping ok there with the heat. Another cool day here, I'd happily swap you - I'm in tracksuit pants, ugg boots and a jacket!

Take care. Katy xoxo

Hello Katy,

I think Mr Sam might fit in the fridge... Woofa however.... (besides he would be fighting me for space)

Hi Katy,

Now I will have to Google radical education of adults...

Never mind little Sam in the fridge, I'd gladly be in it myself! Phew it's hot here - swap you for the Ugh boots and cold weather any time!!!
