It's like a feeling just bubbling up to the surface. It's panicky and disgusting and I dont' know what to do with it. There's no thoughts associated with it. It's a feeling. A really gross one. I called the Suicide Call Back service. I didn't find them helpful. What do you do? What helps you?

That sounds like a pretty awful surgery for Stormy but deep breath, if our fur babies need it, we find a way to get through it with them!

What beautiful memories you stirred about the 'red dirt' and the 'vastness' of our beautiful "Outback" lol! Alexa worked at Yulara (Uluru) and omg what an experience visiting her there!!

Yep as he dreaded, he's been "snowed in", no flights in or out today.

But they had Tacos at the mine, so he's not 100% complaining.

Alexa began a Social Work degree then swapped over.
She's had major anxiety in the past over the "restrictions" and "straight path" she perceived being a psychologist. She's over that now.
She might be helping to facilitate her first group soon, as a volunteer.
Saw the Ad tonight and jumped into the abyss to apply lol.

I only just seen your post dear Katy..I am so pleased that Stormy is doing better....I was unaware dogs could get ulcers in the eyes...I suppose that all the creature including humans can all get the same physical ailments...

A beautiful compliment from your supervisor shows her that you are doing very well in your chosen course....Well done sweety....I hope her words has given you some belief in yourself....that you’re doing a great job with your studies...

Hi all

Gosh, I knew things would get hectic and replying would be difficult, so please forgive me 🙂 I'm grateful that you've all popped by!

I have to take Stormy to the vet shortly for a follow up about her eye (which still looks sore - poor baby girl), and tomorrow I start prac, so I have reading and paperwork to do today for that, and of course my thesis work which is an insane amount of work already. Golly galoshes! What have I got myself in for!

You wouldn't read about it...

Took Storm to the vet for her eye check, her eye was fine. On the way home she got stung by something, and by the time I arrived home her face was swollen, and I had to take her straight back to the vet. They've given her an injection and kept her in for observation. I think I've run out of magic tricks for bill paying. I just want to curl up in the corner, but I have work to do **sigh**

Gosh I am sorry to hear that. I am in a financial mess at the moment too, trying to pay for bills/music/vet stuff... it just goes on and on doesn't it? Is Stormy OK now?

I have a big personal issue to deal with but will try to be here as best I can. I think we all have lives that present us with a lot to deal with on our own don't we? Hugs hugs

Gosh, my poor little girl. She's home now, but it was so scary to see her like that - such a mess. They put orange dye in her eye, which came out her nose fluro green, then her face puffed up, hives over her body, her skin and gums all bright red. I don't know what I'd do without her. I did nothing today, the stress of everything just did me in. Oh well, tomorrow...

Hanna, sorry you have troubles too. Yes, we all seem to have a lot to deal with alone. If you need to talk, please do x

Do you know what bit Stormy Katy? Poor dog! She will be comforted by being home and cared for by you. Is she OK now? It's all happening at the moment isn't it, and you with Uni stuff too. I hope she is better soon, what a scare for you! Our furkids are so precious.

Yep BF got out "finally" he said lol.
Flying out to Montana in a couple.

My pup is fine but Vet every week for a while. (They said without saying that the Previous Vet did the WRONG thing grrrr Alexa wants to file a complaint because now we have a too long list of extremely bad practices grrrr).
I swear I'm coming back as a Vet with the nerve to too!

Alexa pulled the rest of the staples out of her pup herself.
The Vet was too traumatic for both of them.

Sure Yvette's doing so well after the crap.
MORE POWER TO HER and to ALL of you wonderful women.
