It's like a feeling just bubbling up to the surface. It's panicky and disgusting and I dont' know what to do with it. There's no thoughts associated with it. It's a feeling. A really gross one. I called the Suicide Call Back service. I didn't find them helpful. What do you do? What helps you?

Katy, it just said on the ABC that Perth is supposed to reach 37 degrees tomorrow, this weather is insane! I hope it doesn't get that hot where you are...

Grandy - I'm sorry you're having a lonely time, it's tough isn't it? And don't worry, everything related to clothing shrinks during pandemics so it's nothing to do with our weight, absolutely not! I just had a cuppa and a hot x bun - can't affect my weight only my clothes surely?

I was pleased to get out and have a nice walk today and I browsed the nursery just as an excuse to stay outside - two days indoors has driven me nuts!

It's freezing and windy here too, I think you're in regional NSW too? We didn't get much autumn it went almost straight into wintery weather...

I was just chatting to CS on my thread a while ago about why neighbours are not friendly much these days, it's a shame... sorry you're lonely hope Katy comes by and chats - take care of yourself, hugs ooo

I'm so very sorry lass. It seems I had a day yesterday where what I wrote on yours (& other threads) wasn't clear about what I was trying to say. I do know that if it were possible for you to get Stormy cured you would have done so, I didn't mean to imply otherwise & I truly hope you weren't hurt or offended.

You had recently mentioned that Storm had a bad day movement wise & I had thought you might be interested in hearing of others with similar issues. What I was trying to say (I hope this is clearer) was some owners had found that when looking for treatments which might help with mobility for their dogs that had spinal issues, the Uni vets usually were able to offer more options than their local vet. For example one owner recently reported her Dane had been given an epidural steroid injection & was now moving much easier.

I meant I'd had a SLIGHT side effect, not SIGHT!!!! The lavender tabs seem to have slightly affected by sense of taste - mostly from what I've read they have virtually nil side effects. I'm amazed at how quickly they made a difference to any feelings of anxiety - only a few days and my S8 drug is decreased steadily, yay! Sorry for the typo!!!! xx

Grandy I'm sorry you're lonely like me. It's not a nice feeling, so thanks for sitting with me. Your bubble bath sounds lovely, but at after 9pm here it's still warm enough that I'm in shorts and t-shirt. I do love the warm weather. Are you more summer or winter?

Hanna, yes I think I'd feel worse if I couldn't get to the beach, as I really don't go anywhere else. I did have a giggle at your nonchalant mention that the lavender was affecting your sight! It's good to hear that it's not, and is actually helping you relax.

Paws - lovely Paws 🙂 Your post didn't bother me at all, and I'm sorry if my reply made it seem it did. I think perhaps things get lost in text speak. If I was there now, I'd hug you, smile, and say "nope, not at all". Then I'd ask whether Woofa had dared shown you his nails yet?

Well it's a gorgeous warm evening here. I've been for a late walk with pup, and vacuumed the floor. It's one of those nights where it would be nice to have some good company to lie on a picnic rug with, look up at the stars and talk 🙂 Ho hum...

Your thread is a little busy for me to manage at the moment so I'll just say hi here. I'm sort of just getting on with things but feeling very alone. I'm sure you understand. Hope you managed to get the gas leak situation sorted. How's lovely Sam now? It got really windy here over night, and has showered this morning, so Storm is busy snoring on the couch, as she does when the weather is dull.

My thread is a bit too busy for me too - I don't know how to find the time to answer everyone as I have another doctor appointment this afternoon and my GP friend in the city is phoning me about 2pm and I need to bath Sam etc etc....

The gas leak problem just gets worse and worse. I'm feeling very alone too, and with problems with no support person/friend/family to talk to or help... I remember you gave me numbers of places/people to contact about maybe moving ages ago on my thread, but I can't find where you posted it. I was thinking of phoning Lifeline today. I've taken Sam for a walk but it was very busy and it's turned hot here. I hope you are OK, it's horrible feeling alone I do too - I wish I could do something normal like go to a café but of course we can't. Thinking of you and sending warmest wishes xoxxo

I'm glad you at least have nice friends to talk to on the phone. That must be a small help. Do call Lifeline for a chat though, if things are getting too much. In relation to your gas leak, I've always had success dealing with Housing through an Advocacy service. I'm not sure what state you're in (I forgot, sorry) but this website may help https://www.tenants.org.au/. You can put your suburb in to find advocacy near you, or in the top right you can find advocacy in your state if you're not in NSW.

Thanks Katy I'm in NSW I'll look up that advocacy service... I tried ringing Lifeline but the wait time was so long I lost my nerve and hung up - I guess with the coronavirus they're probably snowed under...

My GP friend will only talk for a few minutes but my friend from Queensland I talk to regularly, she is on her own too so I guess we try to help each other, that is a help yes.

Can you phone you son or him phone you? I am sorry you are so alone, and I think CS might be right that my thread has a title that is attracting people lonely from self isolating at the moment! It's very hot here like summer. I am feeling rotten today and just wish I had never moved here it's turned into a nightmare... an electricity bill for the last quarter of around $900 is ridiculous, my usual bill is around $250 so I'm feeling quite sick about it all... pats to dear Storm and hugs for you dear one as I am so sorry you're alone and that I'm not well enough to be much help except to say I do care and I am here later today again if you want to talk it's fine - stops me just thinking about myself!!!! hugs and more hugs xoxoxoxoxoxo
