That's awesome news...
I just stayed in the house all day playing phone games, browsing the net and watching TV.
Feeling foggy...
Need to have one of your days!
Thx for sharing.

Glad to hear you had a good day after a bad one yesterday Katy - and the necklace sounds lovely! Where you live sounds pretty.. I am writing this looking at the sun setting over the hills in the distance, and for the first time the hills are so green, it's just gorgeous. I have a lovely view out my loungeroom windows over beautiful hills.
Apart from worrying about Mr Sam I did vaccuming and dusting today and swept the porch and front steps. Now I am feeling tired after visiting the vet and having a coffee to get out of the house for a while.
Yes do look at that video it is funny! I got it off the blog of an English book reviewer who is also a teacher trying to do classes via Zoom herself now the UK is in lockdown. She told us to watch that video to see what it's like for the poor teacher!
Take care, pats to Storm xx

Hello Hanna & Katy,
He's as young as we are being in his 60s, so he should be able to think on his feet.

Hi all 🙂
Paws, I love to ride my bike to the beach in summer, but yesterday I needed bread so I rode to the local bakery. A bit of exercise seeing as the yoga didn't work. I might go for a ride again today. I'm glad you had a nice chat with your relative yesterday, and a bit of a laugh, that sounds lovely. I used to do the shopping for my grandma and she was terribly fussy about brands, so I can't imagine doing it in the middle of this pandemic! She was a bit of grump to be quite honest, and there would have been some swearing for sure lol
monkey, I hope today looks cheerier for you. The days can seem longer when we don't find things to fill them. On my down days I tend to just scroll on facebook or browse the www. What kind of things do you paint? Wouldn't it be great if this was a zoom room and we could do show and tell? I'll show you my new necklace (god, I love it!) and you show me your painting 🙂
Hanna, I'm about to visit your thread, but I just love thinking about you looking at the gorgeous view out of your window. You deserve something nice and it sounds just beautiful 🙂
Hugs all round, big squishy ones cos you guys make me happy 🙂 And pats to the fur buddies xo

I paint a variety of things. Recently though I've painted a bubble tree, tropical fish, and an elephant holding on to loads of balloons. Next I was thinking of painting a large frangipani.
Yeah I'd love to see the necklace.
Weather's cloudy this way. Might do a walk later on the break up the monotony of staying in the house.
I'm eating yummy foods though...
Hope you have a good day today.
MMx

Hi MM 🙂
I love that the subjects of your art are cheery animal/nature themed. I'd love a painting of my dog holding a bunch of balloons.
Did you end up getting out yesterday? It was gorgeous again here, so I took pup for a swim and run on the beach. The only other people there were a mum with her two kids.
Speaking of yummy foods - I've put on 3 kilos already since this debacle began lol

Katy, my lunch today was a cup of coffee and crumpets with honey - I've given up on trying to be heathy for a while!!! And I bought myself a packet of hot x buns... heaven help me after Easter my jeans won't fit any more...
The WA premier was just speaking on the ABC. Is it just me or does anyone else notice how the politicians always talk about "spending time at home with your family" "watch the latest series on Netflix with your family", "you can walk on the beach with your family"- I feel as if those of us living alone don't exist! I know most people have a family but there are plenty of us alone and truly feeling the isolation! It would be nice to have this acknowledged sometimes...
I hope your next Uni assignment is going well, it sounded interesting. Mr Sam has improved a bit today. I hope you are managing OK. Pats to Storm xxxooo

Cont...I think a lot of us will put on weight staying at home.
You're lucky, live near the beach by the sound of things...
You sound quite active too which is a bonus- helps a lot in life with your outlook...
I used to be a very active person. That all changed for reasons out of my control...all in my thread.
Been playing on line games...so is my mum lol.
Hope you're doing ok today 🙂
