My first introduction thread after being here FOREVER..... because I always do things backwards...
Velvz. Bipolar.... type? Not sure. I walked out of the psychiatrists office the day he tried putting me on more meds. That was a decade ago.
Anxiety issues. OCD issues. Occasional SH concerns. Checkered history of substance abuse.
I manage for the most part by exercising, good healthy food and good sleep practices. Substances these days are 3 drinks maximum and I'm rat assed.
I work full time. Study part time. Bought my own house years ago. On my own. Ok the bank helped lol!!! Most days for me are 10-14 hours depending. That's work and study and house things and exercise.
At the moment I'm struggling because I believe I've burnt myself out and pushed myself into hypomania. I'm all over the shop. Been here before but no psychosis stuff. Woo.
Oh man I don't know what else to say. No kids. Love kids. But conscious decision not to have my own. Love men. But sadly I'm intolerant to relationships after a while. Moody 😁😁
Animals and music are my passions.
Yeh so..... **** awkward silence***

Read this and thought of you;
'Single isn't a status. It's a word that describes a person who is strong enough to enjoy life without depending on the wrong people'
Hope you're doing ok. Wishing you a safe and happy New year and a better 2018.

Morning Everyone,
It is goog to read that a few of us wake up during the early hours of the morning, nice to know I am not alone in that. It frustrates me when I go to bed at 11.30 fall asleep and am then awake again at 12.30! What is the point in that! Ha. Ha.
Quirky, if you Google New Years Dates for around the world, you will probably find a place celebrating New Year all through the year! That could make for an interesting documentary, New Year's All Year Long.

My sleep is a lot better at the moment. Not entirely sure why. Maybe because a few things are going better and I am avoiding the negatives. Rebelling against them in fact. My friends who treat me like a convenience are now not a priority. Those who treat me like a friend ARE a priority. 😄
Saturday night I hung out with a very old friend. Haven't seen each other in a couple of years. Was awesome. Old band mate. He is like a brother to me.
Then my man thing hobbit creature decided to drop in to my mates place and bring his 10 year old along! We met. Not as the girlfriend but just as friends. She barely left me alone the entire time. Followed me. Talked up a storm. Was very overwhelming in a positive way.
I will pop into other threads during the day. I have been ever so distracted.
