Hi Matchy So sorry that things didn't go so well in your operation. Hopefully they have improved a bit by now. You have been through so much recently I really hope you are getting some help with things. It seems like your the one always helping others please ask for help if you need it. Take care Mum52

Hi Mum52 I am slowly recovering and it will take awhile for a full recovery.I have to go to get my dressing changed and wound cleaned out everyday and will have to go in everyday this week to have it done. They said they will hopefully be able to drop it back to every second day the following week. The heat here hasn't been helping.

Hi Matchy Sorry your recovery is slow. Do you have someone to take you for your treatment or are you managing yourself. The heat definitely doesn't help things. Fortunately we have had a few cooler days but is going up again from tomorrow. I hope you have a bit of relief from the heat. Do you have any hobbies or activities that you can do while you are recovering? After I had a car accident quite a few years ago reading was about the only thing I could do for a few weeks. Thankfully the weather was cooler and I could sit outside for awhile. It's hard to be patient when we can't do the things we want or need to do but your recovery is the most important thing. Take care Mum 52

Hi Matchy Good to see things are finally healing. You seem to do a lot of caring for your family but remember your health is important too. Are you able to do some things you enjoy. The very hot weather we have had lately tends to limit what we can do.Take care and continue healing Mum52

Hi Matchy,
I read your replies and I'm open to hearing anything you feel like talking about.
I wondered, have you considered contacting a psychologist (if affordable) to help you through this challenging period in your life?

I find consolation with a large box of facial tissues and take it from there. I don't have any friends either but that only makes me laugh hysterically. In fact, I am so happy, i could just scream 🙂 Embrace your aloneness and turn it into oneness! I will listen. 🙂

Hi Matchy I hope you had a nice time with your daughter and grandchildren. Sorry 2025 wasn't a good year for you. Hopefully 2026 is better for you with both your mental and physical health. I hope you can find some things to do that gives you some happiness or joy. Take care Mum52
