Hi Matchy
So sorry to hear you had an accident. Hopefully the bones have healed a bit more now and you have a bit more movement. I hope the pain has eased a bit as well. Do you have anybody to help you out physically? It's scarey how easily and quickly our life can change. Sorry you have had to go through all of this

Thanks Ggrand and Mum52 for your kind wishes.I am healing up and did have my daughter here helping out a bit.I saw the doctor yesterday and will be having some surgery on the 17th November so hopefully that goes OK.Sorry for the late reply I haven't been feeling the best and I haven't been getting email notifications that I had replies like I had been getting.I am better with movement now but not full movement yet as will take some time and the surgery might slow things down for a bit.

Hi Matchy
Please don't feel under any pressure to reply. Broken bones can take a while to heal especially if you have multiple broken bones. Hopefully the movement improves soon. It was good that your daughter could give you some help. Wishing you all the best for your upcoming operation.
Take care Mum 52

Hi Mum52 I am healing up but still have some issues to be completely healed if that can even happen.Looks like some percent damage.Your life can change in a split second.
I had to go into town today to get my phone working again as it stopped over the weekend and I had no phone or anyway of communicating.Aftet an hour they had had it sorted and working again. Its the only device I have to be able to communicate and get on the internet.

Hi Matchy
My phone is also my only device as well as my being my camera. It must be getting closer to your operation. I hope you can arrange some help for when you come home. Maybe try to stock up on some frozen meals beforehand so that is one less worry. Maybe you are entitled to some home help until you are up to doing things yourself. Sorry I'm not too sure how you go about getting it. I had a car accident a few years ago and I can remember what it was like waiting for things to heal. Unfortunately there's not much much you can do to speed things up. Just try to think that they will get better if not the same as before the accident. Take care Mum52

We had some severe storms here and they did a lot of damage. My daughters car got written off unfortunately.I have had a lot of stress with that, trying to help my daughter sort at insurance as well as my ex wife who's house got a lot of damage.

Hi Matchy first off I hope everything goes well for you on Monday. You have certainly been going through some hard times recently. Dealing with insurance companies isn't easy at the best of times. I understand about you looking after your daughter but at least it will be good that someone is there for you after your operation. Wishing you all the best for Monday and hope things improve for you after your operation. Take care Mum52

Hi Matchy I hope all went well with you operation. Please try to get some rest and allow your body to heal. Hopefully the operation will give you better movement. Please don't overdo things while you are recuperating. I know this is easier said than done.
Take care Mum52
