Hi everyone, mb20lover here. I wasn't sure where to post this.

It's been a while since I was on the forums, so I just wanted to make a post saying that I'm back. However, I'll try my best to limit my time, comments, etc on here.

I won't bother tagging anyone, and I'll try to keep this as my only open thread that I have created.

I've missed everyone I've spoken to on here, and I hope to talk to some new people. I have been using my offline supports - my Psychiatrist, GP, Parent support of course, and a Social Worker. I'm in the process of finding a Psychologist but I'm having no luck.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, and also I hope I haven't upset anyone on the forums or anything like that because nothing was intentional, so I deeply apologise.

An update on me, I recently turned 21, can't do much with COVID though, it's a hard year for everyone unfortunately.

I also have a milestone, an achievement, I've been seeing my Psychiatrist for a year which is the longest I've stayed with a therapist. And I also finally have a GP I feel comfortable with. I'm on different meds that seem to be working a little but I still of course have my moments, but these meds I've been on the longest for out of any of the ones I've tried.

Other than that, please don't feel pressured to comment anyone, although it would be nice to connect with some people, old or new, but like I said that's okay. I just wanted to check in.

If you've read this and made it this far, thank you. Stay safe and take care everyone, as much as possible with the unfortunate COVID circumstances.

Thinking of all the Beyond Blue Mods & Users. I've missed everyone.

Hey mb20lover,

We're sorry to hear how overwhelmed you feel at the moment. We can hear that life has been quite stressful for you at the moment. Is there anything that we and our community members can do or say to make you feel a bit more supported tonight?

If you're having trouble coping we'd recommend reading through our Self-care page for articles on how to manage stress and enhance wellbeing. We think this article is great for ideas on how to reduce stress:

Hi Tayla I am here if you want to talk.

I'm so worthless, I wish I wasn't around. Helplines don't really help and I can't get through to any anyway

Tayla you are with something, you are special and unique. You care about other people that makes you worthy of being the beautiful person you are.

Hey Mb20lover,

We have sent a private message to you via email.

We hope you respond. Please know we are all here to support you.

Hi Tayla,

Honey, you really need to care for yourself.

When you say that stuff, about thinking you're no good, and worthless, maybe check in with yourself and listen real closely. see if theres another voice, saying, No, I'm not worthless, I'm a good person, and I don't deserve to be treated like crap.

Then, choose to listen to that voice, more, and more, and more.

It might take awhile. You might need to persist.

Have you heard that saying, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink?'

If you google it it comes up with some funny images.

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. I've been busy. A bit preoccupied tbh. Also, I'm not sure what to say lots of the time. But I do pop in from time to time, even if I don't have time to write.

Cheers,

J*

Hello MB , I am sorry that your feeling down and I hope that something posted can help you see that, we all make mistakes and we all get things wrong. Of course none of us want to, but it is very human to make errors. We are not robots or computers, why we have emotions and feeling. And though these are tricky to deal with, its in doing so that we have human experiences. And each time you battle an emotional situation, you become wiser. Then if it comes your way again, your response can improve. This human experience is all we have darling, yours may be shaky today, and you will endure, and you will be stronger tomorrow. Your pain is acknowledged

I thought I was going ok with the new meds and they may be working but stuff is still really depressing and everything keeps happening, it's too much. I can't deal with it, I wish I wasn't around. I'm safe but the thoughts are too much.

PS I got the email Sophie, I just didn't feel up to replying, I've just been browsing the forums, sorry about that.

Hi Sophie, I just sent another email. if you could reply to it when you get the chance please, thanks.
