I had a good day today.

1 - I washed my hair. I love the feeling of clean hair but washing it every day is way too much effort.

2 - I went out for lunch with my sisters, brother in law, niece & dad which was really nice

3 - Treated myself to a dessert called a “Lamington Sandwich”. It was HUGE & had ice cream in the middle. One of the best treats I have ever allowed myself

three self care things I did today :

1. I cried today because I felt defeated

2. I danced to some good music

3. I had green tea to help with my digestion 🙂

wow how is everyone going? I’m skimming, and reading tears, and struggle and beautiful bloody persistence! So awesome!
I’m dancing with you in spirit PF, thanks Sleepy and Blue and Em, it was indeed a special treat, so glad we did it.
I’m kinda struggling with life at home outside of work. Work is great, I love it, and I have absolutely zero interest in cooking or cleaning! I think I need a wife!

anyway, today’s self care is:

*thai take away for dinner- but of a rough day so hubby’s suggestion was well received!

*watching a movie by myself - “I miss you already”- Toni collette and drew Barrymore ❤️
* I’m going to go to bed, and sleep, and wake up and walk on the cool dewy grass- that always makes me feel like I can cope with my day....

Hi all

Today's self care was

1..went out and watched a movie. Peter Rabbit 2. Very cute

2...made a healthy fresh juice and drank it

3...messaged my other sister and chatted for a while. Good for her and good for me

My self-care today:

1) Slept in (I love sleeping and being able to sleep in)

2) Worked on my assignments at my own pace

3) Fitting in some gaming tonight

Today i:

1. Went for a walk to get a coffee

2. Had dinner

3. Booked a GP appt

Seeing some great ideas, as always. Glad you treated yourself J*, sounds like you needed it. Okay, here are mine:

- Implemented idea of meditating in the car before forest walk. Worked out really well, quieted my mind and I got a lot more benefit out of the nature time.

- Had lunch with my brother at the hospital between all the appointments.

- Some romantic time with my partner, which we both sorely needed. Followed by a nap, also very needed.

- Cooked dinner, which I haven't really been able to do since I injured my finger a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't easy around a dressing I have to keep clean, but I managed (gloves are okay during the cooking part, but have a way of taking on water when you have to wash up, no matter how careful you are).

Hi all,

Loved the idea of meditating before your forest walk Blue! I might have to try that. I've noticed I sleep heaps better after a day of working if I can take the dog for a walk. It's hard to fit it in sometimes, but I NEED my sleep!

Today I'm in my PJ's still ,and touching base on the BB forums!

Asked for the day off soccer watching- T was fine with this, to my delight.

And now, a sunny corner and my book beckons me! I just need to stop for a bit 🙂

hi em! you're doing awesome, heres some things i've done today

- taken a nap

- had a job interview

- trying to go a month without biting my nails, i want them long but this is hard as whenever im anxious they get ripped off

overall had a pretty chill day just played some games and i hope to get my homework done tomorrow
