Dear Matchy please don’t worry if you can’t reply especially when you have so much else going on in your life. I’m so sorry you're still dealing with the effects from your accident and physical pain definitely doesn’t help with your mental health. I don’t know about you but I’m really looking forward to some cooler weather Autumn is my favourite season. Sunny days with cooler nights. I hope you’ve been able to spend some enjoyable time with your family and it hasn’t all been about problems. Hopefully you get some good news from your scans and the pain starts to ease. Take careMum52

  1. Hi Mum52 thankyou for your kind support.Just celebrated my bday today.Another older and a bit more wiser I hope.I go to the doctors Monday. It is very hard getting into the doctors out here. Now I am stressing about fuel availability. One servo out here ran out and closed. The media has done it again and made everyone panic buy.We learnt nothing what happened during covid.World is a different place at the moment.I live a fair distance from medical and do not have public transport available.Do people think of us that need fuel to travel for treatment. We had a bit of rain here last week which topped me tanks up so I have plenty of water at the moment which is one good thing.I hope you are well.

Hi Matchy I hope you had a nice birthday. Yes the petrol availability is worrying we depend so much on it. If needed I could get by without a car we have pretty good public transport. Unfortunately so many people depend on it for their work. I try not to watch too much news anymore but you really can’t avoid it. I like to get outside in nature and try not to think too much about it at least for a short time. I’m glad you got your water tanks full. It seems we either have too little or too much rain. That’s Australia. I hope you get to see your doctor and the pain is starting to go down. Take care Mum 52

Hi Mum52 I saw my doctor on Monday and sent me for some scans and they showed still damage that hasn't healed.Probably from overdoing things. It also showed something new that wasn't from the accident which would be causing most of the pain. Before I saw my doctor I did the bowel screening test and it came back positive so I will have to have a colonscopy within the next couple of months.Their is a family history of it so they will try and get me in as soon as possible. So another thing to worry about for me.

I took my daughters cat to the vet this morning as he isn't well and has been put on fluids for the day and pick him up at 6:30pm.My daughter is very upset and worried about him.Hopefully he will be OK.

I have been able to get fuel at on the highway and said they are right for fuel.So hopeful they don't run out like some of the smaller towns out here.Just getting expensive to full up now.

Cloudy today with a spit of rain.Maybe some rain on Saturday again.I wish I had my veggie garden planted up for winter but don't think I can manage it at the moment.

Hi Matchy Sorry to hear your still in pain but if they know what it is they may be able to do something for it. I hope your colonoscopy goes well when you get it. I won’t tell you not to worry about your colonoscopy as I’m sure you will. Hopefully you don’t have to  wait too long for it as waiting is the worst thing. I didn’t put a summer garden in this summer because I had sciatica and couldn't really do it but hopefully next year I’ll do it even just some tomatoes and apple cucumbers.Has the kitten got better.Try and take care of yourself and hopefully things will start to turn around soon. Take care

Hi Matchy I’ve just reread my post and I’m not sure if it was clear what  I meant when I told you I won’t tell you to worry about your colonoscopy. People often tell us not to worry about things when we will definitely worry about them . Hopefully there are things you can do which you enjoy that will hopefully take your mind off things for awhile.  I’d be also interested if you wanted to talk about the sort of veg you grow in your garden. I love looking at people’s veg gardens and see what they’re growing. Take care Mum52

It's ok Mum52 I know what you meant.Sadly my daughters cat didn't make it.Lost him about an hour ago.I had a cry and my daughter is very upset.I got him as a kitten as birthday present 12 years ago.I swapped a bird that I use to breed for him.My daughter having special needs her cat was very important to her.

Hi Mum52 if you are still on here.I am going into hospital in a couple of days for some surgery.I am getting a bit nervous about it.They sent me to a private hospital that I have never been to before so making my anxiety worst.

It's been very dry here and garden isn't looking the the best.I managed plant some bok choi and cauliflowers so far.Growong ok keeping the water up to them so hopefully go alright for a few days without water. The mornings are starting to get cooler which has been nice.

Hello Dear Matchy,

I am deeply sorry your daughters cat has passed….I can relate to the sadness you all must be feeling….I lost one of my dogs 2 years ago… I still miss her and cry when I remember her last few hours…Its okay Matchy if you and your daughter cry, your both grieving a fur family member….

Oh Matchy, of course you would be nervous about having an operation, I’m sorry that your going through that…I wish you good luck and know everything will go well for you…

Well done with the Boc Choi and Cauliflower….a few years ago I had a few raised vegetable beds..which grew good..the past few years nothing grows out my way due to lack of rain…and poor water quality…

Wishing you good luch with your hospital stay and your operation….

Kind and caring thoughts,

Grandy..
