It's so hard to fit in.....i just feel left out. I go to sit with a group who are suppose to be friends, but then they get up and leave. That's why I just sit on my own and just be by myself. If they sit with me then thats fine, but why should I have to chase them? It justst makes me unhappy.
And now I'm trying to organise a surprise for a friend whose birthday is soon, but know one is interested....but when these people want something from me they expect me to jump....well, I'm done. This is why I cry myself to sleep half the time. 🙁😢

Dah thats not the enviroment & people you want to be around darlin I feel for you that's so hurtful
What about singling people out & getting to know them, there by law of averages I'd think have to be some nice ones amongst the horrids
Do you have friends away from work. If not could maybe join a club with sport or activities like cards, chess, table tennis, badminton social groups
What about just have time with your friend if they're not interested. Good of you doing that btw nice thing to do ☺

Hi K ☺ great to hear you were picking up for a while not good though your downing which unfortunately does happen with different stress in our lives and disturbed sleep patterns are sure to pull us down too.
If you're able to remember how you pulled up before could give you lift again hopefully. If you can try to catch it before it goes deeper its easier.
Please feel free to talk more when you're up to it Im listening more than posting lately but aim to be back
Tc

Hi Double K,
DB has replied with words of wisdom I was going to say myself. Think back on what has helped you in the past and try to put some of things into practise now.
If sharing here helps you, then keep on doing that too. I find it helps to get those negative thoughts out of my mind. I write them down on paper now and then, then try to think of ways I can change life for the better.
Some days I make a list with options. I don't have to do them all, achieving one thing can help me feel better about myself and life, so then I might be encouraged to do something else.
Hope you manage to find some hope and light in your day!
Cheers from Dools

Hey, no worries about the auto correction! That's cool.
Good to know you can get some stuff out of your system at the gym. For me it is gardening that does that, hacking down old branches, yanking up weeds, pushing a wheelbarrow...can't afford a gym membership.
This morning I wrote down heaps of stuff that w3as a bit toxic then went for a walk. Excellent start to the day for me!

Hey Dools,
Thanks for the feedback.
Still a little bit down, but spoke to a lovely friend and could say mentor too. She is amazing and the only one besides my family that can make me smile.

Hi DoubleK,
Exercising and smiling! Two great remedies to help with depression and mental health issues. Having someone you can chat to who also helps you feel better is so beneficial.
A girlfriend of mine will telephone and have a whinge, a grump and vent about stuff, she listens to my issues as well, then once all of that is out, we have a great laugh and are in stitches on the phone. It is great therapy. By the end of the conversation we are both ready to go climb Mt. Everest! Well, sort of!
Hope you find some ways to help pick yourself up. I did some stretches here at home then went for a walk. Helped make my day more pleasurable after having achieved those things!
Cheers from Dools
