It's been a while since I was on the forums, so I just wanted to make a post saying that I'm back. However, I'll try my best to limit my time, comments, etc on here.
I won't bother tagging anyone, and I'll try to keep this as my only open thread that I have created.
I've missed everyone I've spoken to on here, and I hope to talk to some new people. I have been using my offline supports - my Psychiatrist, GP, Parent support of course, and a Social Worker. I'm in the process of finding a Psychologist but I'm having no luck.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, and also I hope I haven't upset anyone on the forums or anything like that because nothing was intentional, so I deeply apologise.
An update on me, I recently turned 21, can't do much with COVID though, it's a hard year for everyone unfortunately.
I also have a milestone, an achievement, I've been seeing my Psychiatrist for a year which is the longest I've stayed with a therapist. And I also finally have a GP I feel comfortable with. I'm on different meds that seem to be working a little but I still of course have my moments, but these meds I've been on the longest for out of any of the ones I've tried.
Other than that, please don't feel pressured to comment anyone, although it would be nice to connect with some people, old or new, but like I said that's okay. I just wanted to check in.
If you've read this and made it this far, thank you. Stay safe and take care everyone, as much as possible with the unfortunate COVID circumstances.
Thinking of all the Beyond Blue Mods & Users. I've missed everyone.

Hey again.
I'm struggling today, my Mum was taken to Hospital last night, I had to ring the Ambulance. She fell over (luckily still conscious), while we were out, and we couldn't get her up. 2 Ambos came, they were all lovely. She was having difficulty breathing & she's now on Feeding Tubes & Breathing Tubes, & has a Punctured/Collapsed Lung. We don't know what caused this.
The appointment went OK, I feel bad for going now because of my Mum.

Thanks Mark, it was scary. This is the worst I've ever seen my Mum with her health issues. Dad was there too but he was trying to pick her up. We took in turns helping the Ambos. Then the Woolies shopping came of course, and there were 2 Ambos, ugh. So running back and forth. But the Ambos were lovely, I asked them about Mental Health.
One of them was from South Africa, he has a cool accent, but he says he's lived here for 20 years and his Brother is in England. Someone came and got the Oxygen because they forgot it. I did call 000 last night and tell them but they said they never got the message, weird. But luckily they have it back.
Just went for a walk & it's 40+ degrees here so I think my face got sunburnt. Hopefully I don't get heatstroke.
Take care too.

Thanks Mark & Sleepy.
Dad told me to call the Hospital & ask for ICU where she is, so I did. Then this rude Nurse answered the phone & refused to speak to me, I said I just wanted to check in on her, I know she can't speak at the moment, & I'm her Daughter. Every other Hospital she's been in, I can talk to her or get an update, not here. I have the right to know by Law, right? I told my Dad she was rude & hung up on me, & he called back & was angry & disappointed. They just kept saying he's Next Of Kin. Maybe he is yes but I'm Family too. I don't know how I can be put on the list too but normally they let me speak and give me an update. I'm confused. The Ambulance people were the only nice ones in the whole situation so far, but they have to be. Nurses & Doctors etc have to be aswell but this one wasn't, just wanted to argue with me. I told her last night I spoke to the Doctor there too, well one of them, don't know if it was the same one my Dad spoke to. I'm so annoyed and confused. This has never been an issue. I hate this town and so many people, there's only a few decent people here. It's peaceful and nice scenery and nice birds but that's all I like here. I hate it other than that, it's so lonely and nothing to do, except walking for me. I've tried everything. The so called health care, not just mental health, is atrocious. I'm not trying to put anyone off, this is just my town & experiences. It's ridiculous.
I could say more but yeah.

It does sound like the town isn't very please to for you living there. It can be such a struggle fitting in and when their is nothing for young people to do makes it hard for you.I think your mother would be your main priority at the moment and for her to get better .I really hope she makes a full recovery soon.
Take care,
Mark.

Thanks Mark, I agree with all of that. I'm sorry you had a bad experience too, I hope I didn't trigger you.
It's difficult, they said they'll wake her up tomorrow so I would assume she's in an induced coma, they didn't say. That Nurse really upset me, and she acted like she wasn't going to make it. That scared me and it was unnecessary. I feel like complaining about her.
