Hi Lolou and Everyone,
I like to go to the library to borrow books and Dvds too.
Hand written cards and letters are wonderful.
We always have a tablecloth on the table and use serviettes, not cloth ones though! Maybe I will change that!
I like to post out thank you cards.
I have been known to hand out hand written invitations.
Etiquette is a dying art for some people I think.
Like Croix, I have been know to use "dear" quite a lot and still do so on my correspondence which I hand write.
I do enjoy social media as well. I love seeing photos of family and friends on Facebook, I email a dear friend who lives in Europe and do send text messages. That is as modern as I get.
Cheers all from Dools

Hello lolue,
I also go to the library to borrow books,
I like sending birthday, Christmas, christening, etc cards, I can always put a special meaningful message on them, doing by bf is not personal. I always take some cakes, slices when invited for a cuppa or dinner at a friends place.
I like to hand write letters and always address the letter with dear..
Being old fashion is nice. I say keep it up, be true to yourself.
kind thoughts
Karen (Grandy)
