Hi, my situation has been complex and very sad after the passing of my dad.
I never expected so much struggle and sadness after 3 and half year of this
event. Every day is difficult to reduce the gigantic anxiety even I'm taking
medication seen a psychologist .
Lack of family and good friend is a drawback.
Looking to fin a group so get together and talk.

Hi, welcome,
Sorry to hear of your grief over your dad. I lost my dad in 1992, I'm 67yo and still think about his wonder and love. That was 31 years ago!
So what can you do? That is the golden question. Coping with a death close to your heart - well there is no magic potion, however we can channel it somewhat to reflect in a more positive way.
Writing is my outlet and my therapy along with planting a rose in dedication and watching it grow and imagining my dad smiling at it. Keeping busy works and switching mindsets, more on that in an attached thread.
I commend you for attending a psych as that sound avenue is rarely taken, great insight from you indeed.
I have a poem I've written many years ago that is for you today.
DAD’S WRINKLES
Soon it became obvious
As my ol’ man came of age
That the strain of life itself
Did complete another page
And as his ‘book’ filled up
To approach the final scene
I knew each wrinkle on his face
And which one came from me
And as I read the last line
Of the chapter not complete
It tells of his twilight years
That he knew he’d never meet
Dad was never scared to die
He faced it brave and strong
And I knew each wrinkle on his face
And where they did come from….

Hi Ferddy,
I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how hard it is for you.
And you are right that lack of family and close friends make it more challenging for you to walk out.
But don't lose hope, there are organisations providing various support including group support.
For example, have a look at the support groups facilitated by Griefline: Support groups - Griefline
Hope it helps a bit.
