Hey To, I'm new too. 🙂 I've been looking for a new community to be a part of ever since I grew to old for my old one. I think I might like it here? 🙂
It's funny, I'm a little of the opposite, in how I feel. I've been only working eight hour days, but I spend so much time out of the house that I'm always feeling alone. I've got one friend who I send countless emails to, and her back to me. It's how I keep sane during the day. I need a break, I'll read an email, send one, then get back to focusing. But I guess I get the alone time all day, because I'm rather isolated in the office, and spend two hours on public transport before and after. How do you get to and from work? ((I'll admit, I will find it a little funny if you say bicycle .-, ))

Hi To and welcome,
You sound like a decent man. I just want to give u the praise I think u deserve. Working 10 hrs a day to provide is a big deal. You should be proud of yourself. I think a lot of people don't get the thanks and credit they deserve so I'll give u some. Well done on what u have achieved 🙂

Hi to
thanks for introducing yourself.
10 hr days sound exhausting and it is great you are providing for your family and you enjoy spending time with your family.
I know it is exhausting to find time for yourself. Is there something you like doing or enjoy doing that you could make time for. Sometimes we have to plan to take time for oneself.

Hello To,
10 hours is a lot of hours to work daily, you sound like such a very caring and loving person and I can hear in your words the love you have for them..
Im just wondering To, If one day a month you could have a You time day. even if it's half a day, that way you will be able to have something to look forward to, maybe even if you only spend it reading, or washing your car, or you could look through the net and see what hobbies you might like to start...Maybe your You time you might want to take the kids to the park so you can sit down and enjoy a good book or just watching your children having fun, or enjoy the peace and quiet of nature....I'm probably just rambling. just putting some gentle ideas in to your direction...
I hope that you can find the time for yourself..To much work without you taking time to self care for yourself might not be very good for your mental and physical health...Please To, its so very important for you to take time out for yourself and look after yourselfand your needs as well as looking after the needs of your family..
Please be gentle and kind to yourself alway...
Grandy..

First of all, well done on taking the step needed to start a post. It can be rather anxious time.
I have read some of the replies to your posts and have to agree that you need to make time for yourself. Actually book something in! Be it a movie, watching a game, working on something. Do you have hobbies or interests that you can look into? Do you have a close friend or friends that you can hang out with? Even if its once a month, can you just have a day or 1/2 a day as suggested already?
When we have family it can be hard to make this happen. Do you have a young family or a teenage family? It can be hard with a young family as they reply on you a lot and teenagers are a different story as they want to do everything for themselves.
Are you with your partner/wife? Are you able to talk with her? How does she handle the pressures of a family? Do you get time together? Once again hard when you have family and not always possible.
