We can do it BBers, we can do self-care.
Sleepy21 pointed out research that shows self-care REALLY helps!
Please share what you do for self-care so we can get inspiration, ideas and motivation to do it too.
Best wishes
EM

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL self-care everyone... keep them coming!
I get alot out of reading everyone's self-care - yeah I forget to take my vitamins too lol... object permanence for me.
My self-care:
~ attended a gathering this afternoon which was close to my heart
~ had a LONG nap after work - I really needed that
~ bought take away for dinner.
I'm finding things pretty challenging atm so need lots of sleep, which feels difficult to get atm with the busy-ness.
Love EMxxxx

Hi all,
Loving all the self care! Em I've heard you talk about the 'holding your hand' before. Isn't it funny when we touch ourselves with love and compassion! So healing! And hands are so powerful. My eldest d used to like giving me hand treatments and massages. Its a lovely memory.
Hugs!
Today I :
was organised, focused, and put my needs first.
Packed a beautiful lunch, complete with gluten free snacks AND an apple, which is just the BEST thing for my tum (tho not for yours Em:( funny how we're all so different!)
Ate my lunch outside, and just let myself chill in the middle of my first work day in ages. It was easier than I thought it would be!
Hopefully everyone is enjoying their naps, and hugs, and yummy food,
Cheers,
J*

- Saw my Psychiatrist then my GP today, as my GP managed to fit me in.
That's all I got, it's nothing really let alone self care. I felt ok today now I feel awful. Felt awful physically too but I mean mentally at the moment.
PS - Crowded House are cool, and Split Enz
