We can do it BBers, we can do self-care.

Sleepy21 pointed out research that shows self-care REALLY helps!

Please share what you do for self-care so we can get inspiration, ideas and motivation to do it too.

Best wishes

WOW GREAT SELF-CARE beautiful people!

Everyone's doing so well identifying the self-care they're doing, very impressive! lol.

My self-care involves coming ON to the forums at times.
Other times it means staying OFF the forums for a while.

Bit like chocolate? lol.

Lately my self-care has involved:

~ eating great home made food,

~ doing HEAPS of gardening!

~ organising my spaces better and WOW I've really impressed myself lololol. On one hand having a huge home and property is a pain in the rear lol and on another level there's always PLENTY to do!

~ finding lots of cute and awesome Tiny Home and Green YouTube channels, I LOVE being immersed in these as I get about my house and garden work.

~ really connecting with nature in my garden spaces. Taking moments to sit and absorb all the beauty of nature.

Now what I'm avoiding for my own self-care:

~ communicating with others via phone. I reduced this once I worked out that so many people (like EVERY ONE) is so angry. I can't subscribe to it atm, my MH is too precious.

~ I already avoid ALL social media and news, it's BLISSFUL lol.

~ junk food.

I've dealt with some confronting things too during this time, so my methods are working for me.

Have a BEAUTIFUL day everyone!

Love EMxxxx

Hello Beautiful People

My self care today…

One hour cardio workout.

Followed by a nice hot shower.

Followed by a basil pesto pasta. Pesto was the besto today.

My three self-care things:

1) Had a relaxing cup of coffee

2) I will have a very yummy lunch

3) I will make sure to relax and unwind tonight after a long day of study by watching Korean dramas

Hi Sophia 16,

What you did was really fantastic! It's such a nice feeling when I start my day with a prayer and meditation. It refreshes me. If I may share, I normally call a one day off every week ( which I tag as "me time" where I do the top 3 things:

1. Go for a walk for an hour and shop around (if not in lockdown).

2. Pamper myself with the food I like (not in big amounts) and buy my favorite scents (soap, lotion, creams). At times, have a coffee date with a friend.

3. Watch a good feel movie or read a book.

We really need to be on "self-care" regularly.

Have a good one and thank you for what you shared.

Hello happy BB self-carers!

You're so funny LTF, "pesto was the besto" lol. I BET it was! So yum.

Hey missep, sweet things as per usual!

A warm welcome to Maria.B. Thankyou for posting your favourite self-care on our thread. Those are awesome!

My self-care for today:

~ feeling important enough to speak directly with my big boss. She was beautiful in her responses.

~ used some free vouchers for a take away dinner which is SO welcome! Doing so many lock down meals from scratch for my big family, with all else going on has been tough. This was a fun break.

~ spent a few hours in my garden after work (surprise surprise lol). Chose to pretty up a spot that's been bugging me. I'm so grateful I'm FINALLY at the point in some spaces of my garden where I can pretty things up.
Got LOADS of stuff for the composts all over again lol.

Happy self-caring everyone,
Love EMxxxx

I self cared by having a great two hour chat with a local independent parliamentary candidate.

I self cared by going to be early and arising early too!

i self care by breathing
