What do you fear (today)?

In line with my "when were you last truly happy" post, I wondered about what other people fear?
Is it an "every day fear", or is it a "just today" fear?
Do you fear getting out of bed? Do you fear opening the mail? Do you fear the phone ringing? Do you fear being alone? Do you fear the darkness descending? Do you fear confrontations? Do you fear rejection? Do you fear not feeling anything at all?
I wonder if just voicing that fear, sharing that fear, will help to take away it's power? Or will it give it life?
For me, my big fear at the moment is being found out. Fearing my kids or family will come across my posts. Fear a colleague will recognise my writing style or circumstances. Fear that someone will see through this big brave front I put on to get through the door each day. Fear that someone sees my vulnerability.

Dear SL,
'I fear I have been living a lie in denial about who I am' - You are a wonderful, caring and passionate woman who stands up for what she believes and never gives up supporting those she cares about.
'Who my partner is , what our lives have become'- Sometimes we don't really know who our partners are because circumstances bring out a side we did not know about. Sometimes we see that side but think they will not do it to us or we make excuses for it, but we then realise it is not right and not acceptable. None of us know what our live will become, we do not know what is ahead.
'I fear I don't have the courage to go it alone'- You do have the courage. you will find strength and courage within yourself, i know, i have been there. When you get back on your feet you will realise that happiness is so important and you will see just how much you have put up with that was not acceptable.

I fear I have burdened someone as I shared with them some heavy circumstances happening to me at the moment.
Help me to trust all will be okay and work out for good.

Oh Shell, I cant imagine you burdening anybody, ever. However if you have shared something of yourself to another, then thats really good. I know that to share personal information about yourself is very difficult for you. So obviously these heavy circumstances you mention are playing on your mind.
The person you have told, will have appreciated that you trusted them by sharing this with them. You have done the right thing, and all will work out well because of that.
Trust yourself Shell. (-:

SA with me my dearly departed would complain to me on the burden she was and burden she had put on me with two children. Well the sad thing is she died, both the children wound up having different abilities ( learning and behavioral) personally I wouldn't have it any other way except I would like to have her here beside me.
