It's coming back

Hi....this is my first post. I've always fought the black dog. Recently I beat a plethora hurdles and bad situations.....near death experience, two months in hospital, 7 surgeries, prescription pill addiction, isolation living overseas, increasingly abusive relationship, PTSD. I RAN, I resettled in Aus, i got work, I found myself in love again...I was happy and energetic. But It's coming back. I read somewhere when you don't want to get out of bed, you know you're getting bad again. I have a beautiful new partner. I'm just so tired all the time. I've put on weight which he likes but I can't forget the words of disgust from my ex when I wasn't stick thin. I need some perspective and support guys

Dear RG~

I'm glad things are slowly getting sorted, and yes being helped back by physical conditions is so hard to endure, I think you are being pretty resourceful to start that planing and I'm sure it will not be wasted whatever happens.

Extending an olive branch can be an expensive exercise emotionally, to be met with worsening behavior is a heart breaking situation and you have probably tried harder than I ever would.

While stuck at home are there places you could share your expertise, free interactive drama forums or similar? Maybe join a MOOC?

You would of course be very welcome to post here using your hard-won experiences with PTSD, family problems and related matters to offer encouragement to others.

Croix, I'll try. I'm just so techno-inept that I can't figure out how to do things. Getting on this forum was a challenge. I guess my talents lie elsewhere but I'll try to help others

Dear RunGirl

I'm sure you will do fine, after all you have posted in more than one thread here and that is all the navigation you need. Finding someone who might benefit from a word from you is just a question of some reading. The NEW POSTS tab lets you know what is happening.

Actually the big thing is wanting to help, which you do, the rest is just ways and means
