I just feel like I’m plagued by anxiety that something is going to go wrong with the baby, all the time. Also it’s freezing and today was a bit intense, one of those days I should of called in sick haha
- Was running late, finally made it in work. Got a phone call - your dog was found in the school camp nearby, kids are playing it with it but please pick up right now. I’m thinking oh crap, who can get her? Call the neighbours no responses, call the camp back sorry no we can’t hold onto her for any more time, come now. So I take an early lunch and spend my entire break driving down there, secured our yard and let her in inside. Left home, got half way back to work (in a hurry because I had a meeting to get to) and realise I left my work phone and access card to building on the floor of the carport when I was dealing with Suz. Drive back home, grab everything. Got back to work.Get back to work, go to meeting, then I get stuck into some planning and H calls me, can you pick up this thing I ordered on your way home from work I won’t get there before they close. So I leave work, suprisingly on time, go to pick this thing up, and they say sorry you aren’t the orderer, I said ok but it’s my partner here’s the email confirmation - no you need to have photo ID, ok here’s my photo ID... no the orderer needs to collect it with photo ID, anyone with the confirmation can’t come in and get it, I’m thinking hmm that’s worked for other places... how stupid.
So I had to CALL her up and put her on speaker to say I am authorised to pick up something for OUR child. Ridiculous.
I just got home and thank the lord the dog has not escaped.
