My first introduction thread after being here FOREVER..... because I always do things backwards...
Velvz. Bipolar.... type? Not sure. I walked out of the psychiatrists office the day he tried putting me on more meds. That was a decade ago.
Anxiety issues. OCD issues. Occasional SH concerns. Checkered history of substance abuse.
I manage for the most part by exercising, good healthy food and good sleep practices. Substances these days are 3 drinks maximum and I'm rat assed.
I work full time. Study part time. Bought my own house years ago. On my own. Ok the bank helped lol!!! Most days for me are 10-14 hours depending. That's work and study and house things and exercise.
At the moment I'm struggling because I believe I've burnt myself out and pushed myself into hypomania. I'm all over the shop. Been here before but no psychosis stuff. Woo.
Oh man I don't know what else to say. No kids. Love kids. But conscious decision not to have my own. Love men. But sadly I'm intolerant to relationships after a while. Moody 😁😁
Animals and music are my passions.
Yeh so..... **** awkward silence***

15 and 10. Girls. **shrug**
Today I am over that situation. Over a few of my friends and their bollocks. Been so devalued the last year or 2 I am just so bummed. I am pushing them all away the hurtful sods.
Bad morning. I hate everything and everyone. I just don't feel good enough for anyone.

Little question to anyone who may be able to answer. Can psychologists write you off work?
Reason I ask because I have worked my BACKSIDE off for the last 3 years working, studying, learning a new role and babysitting new staff. I have asked for leave 3 times in the last 3 months to be given no definite answer. This mornings efforts has enraged me. I am exhausted. I literally DO NOT CARE about anything at the moment. OK a few select things hahahaha like chocolate.
Everyone been away on a conference. JOLLY GOOD FOR THEM. Boss is back and asks how i am. I say I am tired and need a break. I get "oh well" as a response. I am furious. The only reason i got out of bed this am was to come in and help those who have been away on conference to find their footing after a week away.
I see my psych in 5 hours.

Hey Velvet,
I don't know if they can but there is no harm in asking. Alternatively, you could ask your dr for a certificate. You sound as though you're ready to collapse, surely one of them can get you a break.

Velv,
It seems so unfair when you need a break that it is ignored.
If psychologist cant wrote you a certificate surely they can write a note for your doctor to explain why you need a break. Let us know how you go.
It sounds like you have been taken advantage of for a long while at work.

I am going to chat to her today. I am generally happy just utterly exhausted. My eyes hurt and my head hurts from utter exhaustion. I am sleeping 6-7 hours a night which is ODD... but it isn't enough.
I will totally let you guys know how I go.
I am glad I have tomorrow off on leave for the rest of my tattoo to be finished.

I’m cool. After psych appointment I had dinner at man things house - he’s now living with his mum at her new place. Was awesome. She’s cool.
Im tired. Psych said I’m exhausted and have compassion fatigue. Yep.
Had my back tattoo finished today. That takes it out of ya energy wise too.
Pondering asking again for leave from work, in writing including the big big boss. Failing that I’m going to the GP.
while I was off today 3 people contacted me on my personal phone regarding work stuff. *** ignore***
