Dear Guest_69958073~

Welcome here to the Forum where some have found friendship and may useful ideas about how to cope.

Your title suggests you are meeting a new therapist. This can be a pretty nerve-wracking experience.  I've found the idea of explaining  everything from the start upsetting, and worry that the new therapist will not have the same idea as I'm used to with the old one who appear to understand my problems.

Are you continuing on from an previous therapist ,and if so has he or she talked to you about a handover and what will happen? I dare say you will have a better idea once you meet hte new therapist, htere may be nothing at all to worry abut, and if there is I'm sure you will cope and take whatever action is needed. I've always felt it is the relationship rather than hte type of therapy that does the most good.

Losing friends is one of hte bad things in life. Sadly I've reached the age where many have passed away, do you mind if that is hte case with you or was it osme other cause?

Wanting ot imporve your self-esteem and put yourself back together sounds as if you may have made a start already

Would you like to say more about what has happen to make you lose your esteem? -Only if you feel like answering of course. It does help to have a fuller picture in order ot talk more exactly.

I hope to hear from you again
