Yeah, break it down, don't have to do everything at once. It's a process, small steps to feeling better.
i feel for you so much, I can really feel your pain. If you can find a good counselor it will really help you but keep, posting here as much as you need to. We may not always be here straight away but we will see your posts when we log on. If you get really stuck you can call the support number 1300224636. Maybe keep the number in your phone.
i probably should get off to sleep. Have you heard of the smiling mind app? It's relaxation exercises which may help you relax when feeling anxious, might be worth a try?
hope you get some rest tonight and have a good day tomorrow.. anytime you want to 'talk' about your brother just go for it. Thank you fir sharing your story with us, I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to do so.
will you be ok now for tonight?

Your mum must be just as devastated as you are, but she could be putting on a brave face pretending that she is OK, and she maybe doing this to indicate that there is nothing wrong, but I'm sure the two of you must be suffering deeply, so please just take your time, because there will be many occasions you remember after you post your comment. Geoff.

Morning Jackson, just checking in to see how you are today. Is it a work day for you?
I am so sorry you have struggled so much. Grief is such a hard thing to cope with, especially when we're supporting other family members. It's unpredictable too sometimes - we think we're coping and then suddenly we're not. It takes time.
Brothers have a special bond too hey? Bet you got up to all sorts of mischief when you were little 😀 I'd love to hear more of your stories when you're ready.
I see you have joined in at the BB Cafe - that's a great place for company and friendship. We also have a cafe for young people - the Friends Cafe. I'm glad you like it on the forum. And now you feel at home here, it's your place too. So join in as much as you want. Talk about your brother as much as you want, and other things too, whatever helps you.
I agree with CMF about getting some counselling - perhaps grief counselling? No one should struggle through things alone. And we're here too, anytime.
It's a work day for me, so I have to get going, but I'll check in on you again later. Y'know, you've come a long way over the weekend and I truly hope you're starting the week feeling a bit better. See you later on mate.
Kaz

Thanks CMF for everything last night. I just downloaded that app I will try it out.
Thanks Geoff 🙂
yeah it is definitely unpredictable, it feels as if I struggled initially, that's a given, then I was sorta ok for a bit and now it's come back with full force. Thanks, I have heaps of good memories and stories to share. I'm not going to work today, normally I do on a Monday but not doing so great so having the day off

The feelings you are having come and go, sometimes you could be distracted but it's not going to stop them, because they will return and always be with you, until you are able to learn on how to cope with them, it's never easy to get to this point in time. Geoff.

When seeking support on the forums, we really encourage members to use one thread rather than starting new ones all the time. It's really difficult for the community to keep up with your story if you have a lot of threads going at once, and you may find yourself having to repeat information if your story is spread across the forum - sometimes our members will be repeating themselves as well if it's an issue you've had previously.
Help us to support you by keeping to one thread, even if you're returning here after a period of time. There's a lot of value in seeing how someone's story evolves over time, and when facing a new crisis it's helpful to scroll back and see how you've coped previously.
We're going to close this thread off and keep your first thread open (below):
