Hi everyone, mb20lover here. I wasn't sure where to post this.

It's been a while since I was on the forums, so I just wanted to make a post saying that I'm back. However, I'll try my best to limit my time, comments, etc on here.

I won't bother tagging anyone, and I'll try to keep this as my only open thread that I have created.

I've missed everyone I've spoken to on here, and I hope to talk to some new people. I have been using my offline supports - my Psychiatrist, GP, Parent support of course, and a Social Worker. I'm in the process of finding a Psychologist but I'm having no luck.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, and also I hope I haven't upset anyone on the forums or anything like that because nothing was intentional, so I deeply apologise.

An update on me, I recently turned 21, can't do much with COVID though, it's a hard year for everyone unfortunately.

I also have a milestone, an achievement, I've been seeing my Psychiatrist for a year which is the longest I've stayed with a therapist. And I also finally have a GP I feel comfortable with. I'm on different meds that seem to be working a little but I still of course have my moments, but these meds I've been on the longest for out of any of the ones I've tried.

Other than that, please don't feel pressured to comment anyone, although it would be nice to connect with some people, old or new, but like I said that's okay. I just wanted to check in.

If you've read this and made it this far, thank you. Stay safe and take care everyone, as much as possible with the unfortunate COVID circumstances.

Thinking of all the Beyond Blue Mods & Users. I've missed everyone.

I guess I'll just keep struggling, because it feels to me like that's why I was put on earth for. I have tried every single suggestion that has been offered to me whether here or in person, and why I'm rejected up here is beyond me. I just give up.

I don't agree that you are self aware, because this need to feel rejected, it does not come from really being rejected by others, it is only your self beliefs that make it seem so. Here on BB you are embraced by others and no one rejects you. I wish this website had more skill based learning so you could see just for a moment, that your bad thoughts give you bad feelings and it can be like being stuck on a hamster wheel. We have all been there and at some point we all have to own our part in a problem. Girl you are strong you just don't know it yet.

I am self aware. I know my symptoms, my diagnoseses, lots about MH, and so forth. That's what people mean when they say I'm self aware. I found that a bit harsh saying that I'm not. I know what I deal with.

Tayla, trust me, there is a difference between being aware of your symptoms/ diagnosis' / MH and becoming self aware. Self awareness can protects us from being vulnerable to outside stimuli. It conditions us to know that our thoughts to a large degree determine the outcome in situations. I am not a teacher so my explanation is sketchy but if you are staying home, have a look into self awareness. I wish someone had told me about it sooner. amber

I am finding this conversation getting offensive to me, like everybody is attacking me. So I will leave.

I feel like I'm just getting attacked here for no reason. I'm extremely sensitive and this is upsetting me a lot and I'm finding it offensive. It seems like no one is weary of my feelings and emotions, and how things like this can depress me and tip me over the edge a bit (I'm safe). Things may not work for everyone, me included.

Hi Tayla,
Ive had hard times on the forums, so i know it really sucks. I am sorry you feel so hurt and alone

I dont know the right thing to say ever and only try with my knowledge of the situation, which is limited online, when u dont know the person. It can be hard to get it right all the time, but if the intentions are good, sometimes it is solvable. I have been very hurt here at times and on other forums as well.

I hope u find peace for urself and a way to feel better.... the forums are relatively safe and supportive and that includes being able to vent ur frustrations, which u are doing.

Wishing you only good things

Tayla a million sorries if I some how hurt you I will be very mindful in future

tayla

you are very much a part of the forums and most welcome. I too am sensitive and emotional .

I hope you know people appreciate your posts and liking having you here.

Take care
