Hi all,
i am a 25 year old male and i believe i suffer heavily from some sort of anxiety, specifically to do with personal relationships and how i persieve conversations. I am currently going through alot of negativity in my relationship with my girlfriend. I make myself believe that she will eventually leave me. i over analise everything she says to me and twist her words, i feel like i am slowly but surely self sabotaging my relationship at no fault but my own. does anyone else deal with similar feelings?

Hi, welcome
It seems you have some fear going on there and insecurity. These automatic reactions are best sorted by a qualified therapist, a referral from your GP is the way to go.
Over thinking some minor things isnt uncommon. You might talk further with your GF so she can reassure you she isnt going anywhere.
I hope you are ok and seek the help you need.

Hello LJShield, if the two of you are having problems then, like all relationships do, there has to be some common ground between you and having a disagreement doesn't mean she will leave you, you might have many lovely attributes which is why she's with you.
Negative feelings do lead to problems which might not be your fault but with how you are feeling yourself because of what else is happening around you.
