I have found that the waiting list to get help is growing and growing, and help is dwindling. Struggling is real and the consequences of having that sort of rage outburst (which I tend to have in the most inopportune moments) is real. Being neurodivergent is difficult, and having to appear normal is almost a societal demand, unless you open yourself up to all and sundry to explain why you are the way you are. I understand some is necesary but at the same time you still cherish your privacy as well. It is a difficult road to travel, and I wish that there was more affordable help for people who work and are not on NDIS or other governmental assistance, who can access these services at reduced rates or waiting ages before being able to go onto waiting lists for proper therapists that specialize with ADHD or Neurodiversity. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks.
