Does anyone else feel fed up with their anxiety?

Lately I have wished there was a magic switch to turn off my anxiety. It's just so hard to deal with. Does anyone else feel like this?

Hi Kucingcantik,

I have felt exactly the same on numerous occassions. I do have 'good patches,' hopefully they will get longer.

Hi CMF,

Thank you for another good strategy 😊 I really hope we can all find some peace with anxiety; as much as possible anyway.

Hi Krystalramone,

I know exactly how you feel. It's so hard to manage your own mind and re-train it to think differently. I really hope we all can get through it. Lets never give up.

Hi Paul,

Whilst I have only just been diagnosed, I really think I may have had it for years. I guess I just have to work with it. I hope that gets easier in time.

Hi Ms Purple,

I also wish I could live a life without it. I think I may have had it longer than I realised.

Hi Need2bstronger,

it stops me too and then I feel guilty for feeling that way. I don't want everyone else to feel my anxiety as well as me.

Hi Paul, that's no problem 😊

Hi Blubaguette,

I have been seeing a psychologist. She is great. I have a partner and sometimes we talk about it but I feel like if I talk about it too much, he will think I'm crazy. I know this is anxiety talking because he is very supportive.

Anyway, I am not on medication. Trying to get by without it.

Yes, books are my passion. I recommend fiction (that's my favourite), 'The Notebook' is excellent and Harry Potter.

Hi i know how you feel ,ive been told by drs and councilers that we all have good days and bad days.I know anxiety can come on with no warning and it can be very frustrating waiting for it to settle down.I have good days and bad days .I had a few bad days last week.I went to the drs in the end.I was having panic attacks and anxiety over finances believe it or not and health anxiety .I am having counciling which is helping me and i just saw my gp for reasurance which helped.Have you thought about talking to your gp or a counciler at all .Hope you feel better soon
