Does anyone else feel fed up with their anxiety?

Lately I have wished there was a magic switch to turn off my anxiety. It's just so hard to deal with. Does anyone else feel like this?

Hello Booklover17

Many people feel the same way that you do where anxiety is concerned. I used to have had chronic anxiety for a while. The good thing is that it does lessen in severity when we are seeing a doctor on a regular basis.

Its similar to any ongoing physical health issue. It does require ongoing help from a doc so the symptoms can be monitored and dealt with. Are you seeing a GP for your anxiety?

Thanks for the great thread topic 🙂

My kind thoughts

Paul

I feel exactly the same. I’m so over it.

Yes and definitely had enough of it.

Oh god yes. I would do anything to rid myself of anxiety when I get it. Sometimes I like to imagine there is a syringe drawing the poison out of my chest when I get anxious.

Hi Paul,

Yes I am seeing a psychologist and that has helped immensely but it is still such a struggle.

Hi Brianna,

I am so glad I am not the only one. Anxiety makes me feel so alone, I am glad someone else understands.

Hi Ggrand,

If there was some easy way to turn it off, that would be amazing 😊

Hi Ellie,

That's a good way to imagine getting rid of it. It does sometimes feel like it takes over, hopefully we can all get through it 😊

Oh boy, I'm sick of it too.

Had a good weekend - relatively anxiety free - but it seems to come and go in waves. Hit me hard this morning, all these intrusive, irrational, painful thoughts come into my mind for no good reason. They send me into a panic.

Since it hit me this morning, I'm hoping that the rest of the day will be a bit better.
