What is happening to me.

Hi all. I'm Ash and I have been currently not been doing very well. I already struggle from anxiety, social anxiety, etc but recently since tests have started I have been making jerky movements that I can't control. Today I literally started hurting myself. I have no idea what's going on. Can someone explain? Should I tell my parents? Would they believe me?

Hi again Ash,

It may be connected with stress on top of your anxiety and should be assessed by a doctor, we are not able to give you a diagnosis simply because we are not professionals. I don't know what your relationship is like with your parents, but you need to let them know that this is happening and that you feel you need to see a doctor about it. Is there any reason to think they would not believe you?

I want to give you a number that you can call to talk to someone in real time, please put the number in your phone so you have access to help when you need it. With health related issues, it is better to get them sorted out sooner rather than later, especially when it is a new experience that you don't understand.
