I've been told that I have bipolar and now people know, I feel like I'm being judged. I feel like everybody hates me and I hate going in places with lots of people I get nervous and I don't know why

Hi there Tay23,

I can't exactly relate to having bi-polar, but I can relate in the field of judging. I constantly feel like everyone is watching every single move that I make and making negative judgements of me all the time and its horrible. But I do have a good piece of advice, well a little saying actually, the ones that mind don't matter and the ones that matter don't mind. So don't worry about people who make negative comments or make you feel bad about yourself because honestly you deserve nothing but the best and remember that! I hope this can give you a little bit of a morale boost along with other peoples replies 🙂

Stay Golden!

Hi,

I want you to take a deep breath first and we can discuss this 🙂

It can be very scary to hear a diagnosis like that and you often wonder what others think but you'll be surprised that no one sees you differently. its a big fear that be judged and it is understandable. however, do you have a good support network around at the moment? Such as friends and family?

I assume you have spoken to a psycholgist/GP for the diagnosis? Have you mentioned any of your nervous feelings? It is perfectly normal to feel nerves in large crowds. There are definitely ways to work through that though.

I applaud you for seeking help here. BB offers a lot in understanding what you are feeling and ways to help deal with those feelings.

Hi Tay23, welcome to the forums. You may wish to talk to Blue Blood in the the Bipolar Disorder thread, they have also recently been diagnosed and I am sure you can share experiences.
