Overpowering worrying and stress and anxiety -social and study

By my own fault, I am exceptionally behind in study and exams are only two weeks away. I can't sleep at night and I'm constantly restless and worrying. How can I manage this worry? Literally had my in tears every morning for the past week.

I've just been feeling also really down in general which is why I have not had motivation to study and now I'm regretting it. I feel as though I'm alone even though I have some truely amazing friends and a great dad. I feel like I have trust issues and anxiety when it comes to being fully honest with friends and have a hard time letting down my defences. How can I overcome this - I want to just be myself without being socially anxious and worrying about what they might think of me and now want to be friends with me anymore.

PrincessBelle,

Welcome to the forum. This is is a friendly, caring and supportive community.

You have a lot to deal with at present with your study and exams.

Do you have a counsellor/someone you can talk to, at your school, university/college. I know your exams are close but maybe if you can talk to someone they may help you work out a plan so you sleep and organise the time you have left.

You are not alone in feeling like this there will be other students who feel the same way.

I used to be the same as you and the more I worried the less I slept and the less I studied.

Try not to worry about what you have not done but try to see what you can do with the time left. It is important you get sleep and have a plan.

Maybe your doctor can help too.

I know schools and universities have counsellors who understand students.

These are just suggestions .

Feel Free to post.

take care
