Hi Hannahw,
Welcome to blueVoices 🙂
Whilst I don't have a twin, I have a sister who is 1 year older than me. She's taller, smarter, and more successful than me. One of her jobs is the same as mine - as a library assistant at University. People get us mixed up ALL the time, which can get annoying sometimes.
The resolution is to find peace within yourself. There will ALWAYS be people that are smarter, better, skinnier, taller, prettier, etc etc than you. It's impossible to be the #1 person in this world. How would you feel if someone told you to go away and leave you alone? I suggest giving yourself space if you feel trapped, e.g. join a sports club or watch some movies in your room.
Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on ways YOU can become a better and happier person. How you view yourself is important. What good traits do you have? What are your achievements?
I hope you feel better about yourself.
xx
