How are you today? You sound a bit upset. What are your parents not listening to you about? I sometimes think parents don't know how to answer so sometimes they just say a generic comment. It is not nice that your parents are putting you down thought. Have you told them how you feel? I know it is hard to tell them how you feel. Sometimes we don't want to tell our family how we really feel.Maybe telling them that them saying that to you doesn't make you feel good. I have been in a very similar boat with my step mum but that's another story. How old are you Layla? It can be a very hard thing to carry as a young person. I struggled with it to. Maybe talking it over with your friends will help as well. I found me talking to my high school friends helpful.
