hi i’m new to this so it’s a bit scary but i thought i’d try something new as i’m 19 and have been in therapy and on medication for over a year now and i still feel so lost. i feel as if i’m losing time due to having social anxiety disorder and inattentive-adhd because of how behind i have come in life. i graduate 2 years ago and didn’t go for an atar since i’m not very smart and i never went to uni or tafe and have never had a job and i don’t have my license. all i’ve ever wanted since i was a kid was to be skinny and popular and excel at something anything but that never happened and now i am stuck in grieving something that didn’t happened. does anyone have any advice on how to move forward in life and stop feeling so bad for and about myself. thank you

Hello
I think it's really good that you find the courage to post. I can understand how hard it can be sometimes. I know that it can feel that it's all lost but based on what I read, good things can still happen as we don't need education to do well in life. Education is not for everybody and it's ok to find you own way through life.
I strongly believe that our best chances at excelling is to do what we love and find a way how other people can benefit out of it and eventually pay for it. The enjoyment makes us keep going and keep learning and we become very good at it. So maybe focusing on your hobbies or finding new hobbies could a good start. You can't really lose as at least you enjoyed yourself and recharged to find your place in the world.
I hope that it helped little bit, please be nice to yourself as it's fine to feel lost sometimes, it can still be all good

Hi,
I just want you to know that I truly understand what you’re going through because I’m facing the same situation myself. It’s incredibly hard and overwhelming, and sometimes it feels like no one else can really get it unless they’ve been through it too.
Please know you’re not alone in this. If you ever want to talk or share how you’re feeling, I’m here to listen and support you. We can get through this together.
Stay strong.
