I'm so sorry that this happened to you. It's definitely not easy to go through something like that. I agree with you that we do need to understand both sides of a story before we make conclusions.
Unhealthy group dynamics and peer pressure can cause a lot of distress and it's not right. Unfortunately, a lot of members in a situation like this pick the group majority's opinion to avoid being rejected. Very likely a lot of members are scared to take your side even though they agree with you and know that it's not right what happened to you. It's really important to remember that abuse is always wrong and it's not your fault for being treated badly.
I understand that it really hurts at this moment and it might seem that the whole world is bad. It's not the case, there's a lot of people out there that agree with you and have the same good standards as you do. They would never treat you like that as you don't deserve it.
Please contact Beyond Blue if it gets too bad or you can talk to your GP about it too as it can make it all easier to cope with. Please be nice to yourself and feel free to update us on how you're going whenever you feel like
