It sounds like lately you've really been struggling with some intense experiences. Please know that there is support out there for you to help with what you suspect may be anxiety. If you would like some help finding mental health support, we would recommend that you get in contact with the Beyond Blue Support Service, which is available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport. One of our friendly counsellors will be able to talk through these feelings with you and can offer support, advice and referrals.
We hope that you will find some comfort here on the forums. Please feel free to keep reaching out here on your thread whenever you feel up to it.

Dear KarriLB
Hello and welcome to the forum. Your emotional state is a cause for concern as it still happening ten months down the track. There could be all sorts of reasons for this and it may be a good idea to have a chat to the Kids Helpline. The phone number is 1800 55 1800 and is available 24/7. They cater for people aged up to 25. Have a look at their web site. https://www.kidshelpline.com.au/ Plus Sophie's suggestion of the Beyond Blue helpline.
The shaking etc you experience could be an anxiety attack/panic attack. They have similar effects on you and are not pleasant. I wish I could tell you why they were happening but I cannot.

Hi KarriLB,
I'm really sorry to hear that you are feeling like this right now. Navigating these emotions must be really overwhelming for you but it's important to know that you are not alone.
I agree with Sophie_M and White Rose that you might find support offered through the Beyond Blue support service and Kids Helpline useful and comforting. I would also recommend contacting Headspace or your local GP to get a mental health care plan for long-term support with your anxiety.
You asked if 17 years old is a normal age to experience what seems like symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety doesn't discriminate and humans can experience feelings of anxiety at any age. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you 🙂
Please let us know what you choose to do
Stay well
