A small victory

I've wanted to be an actor a while. I auditioned for a community play a while back but quit due to anxiety problems. Anyway, whilst I was rehearsing with that I also had my school one being rehearsed at the same time. I was worried that the same thing could happen again...

But I'm pleased to report I made the whole way through!!!!...from opening night to closing night!!!!

I found it weird that despite having low self-esteem I was able to get up on stage like that.

Anyway, I just wanted to write something positive for a change, hopefully I'll start getting involved with community theatre again.

One down problem down!! 🙂

Hi Liam,

Congratulations! So many people without anxiety find it difficult to get up on a stage, so kudos to you for doing that with the added challenge of your anxiety.

I am sure this will be the first of many positive posts by you over time. You are fighting and winning.

Kind regards, John.

Thanks guys, It's a small victory but a victory nonetheless. Neil, you remember that other play I was going to auditioned for? I did the audition but might be too young for the role so it seems likely I won't get it, but that happens

Hi Liam

Wow. Success is like a snowball rolling down a hill. It gathers more and more success.

Many fail to roll the ball in the first place so it never gathers momentum.

Roll that ball Liam. You are successful.

See you in Hollywood.  (I've been mistaken for John Wayne....)

dear Liam, congratulations to you, it's an achievement that I would find very hard to accomplish, but you have done it, well done champ, Geoff.
