I find waking up quite depressing some days, today is one of those days. I lay in bed and it's an effort to make myself move to get ready for work.. I'm just disappointed I have to suffer through another day, I'd love to fall asleep and not wake up to my miserable life again 😢

Hello Nev54,
Sorry to hear you are feeling this way, but you are not alone, it's quite common to experience this feeling especially when waking up in the morning.
Do you get enough sleep and have a good sleep routine? Sometimes if your body's natural sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm) gets disturbed, it can make you feel very down and sad.
Do these feelings lessen as the day goes on?
Try to take one step at a time in the mornings, just focus on the first thing that you need to do rather than thinking about the whole day which could be as simple as making a cup of coffee/tea.
Exercise also really helps, even walking for 20-30 minutes a day will give you more energy and will make you more tired, this will help you in getting a better night's sleep.
It will also be good to talk to your GP or therapist, so they can come up with a treatment plan that works for you.
Hope you feel better.
Take care
