Hi everyone,

First time here, so it is nice to meet you all.

Kind of a mixed bag of things at the moment, and feeling quite directionless as to where to go. It's been a long time bottling things in. I just need help. I just need someone to talk to

Hello Geoff, great to welcome you to the site, where all of us have struggled through depression ourselves, it's been an awful battle to begin with, just as you are feeling.

Here there is no criticism just advice from our own experience and there are people on the site that are still finding life to be tough but have given their best to help others who post in.

I'm sorry that you are at a stage where you aren't sure on which direction to take, let us help you.

You can also click on 'All Posts' and go through any section that involves your situation, but please get back to us and tell us a little more.

Take care.

Geoff.

Hey Geoff,

My name is Nick and it is great to meet you! Welcome to Beyond Blue. Thank you for posting and sharing your situation with us. Extremely brave of you and you should be proud! You will find so many people who you are able to relate to and everyone here is super caring and non-judgmental. Feel free to post as much or as little as you want! We will always be here to support you.

What your feeling is completely normal so don't be too hard on yourself. We all feel directionless at one point or multiple points in our lives. Is there anything in particular that is troubling you at the moment? I would love to hear more about your situation as long as you feel comfortable doing so!

It is great that you have expressed your emotions. It is always better to express your feelings then keeping them in. Have you seen a health professional and discussed any concerns you have?

Look forward to hearing back from you and seeing you around the forums.

Stay positive and strong!

All the best,

Nick
