this is how I feel right now, not sure if this is the best place to post this...
these kinds of intrusive thoughts are scary, they are not the facts but they are linked to reality. Because I'm really lonely.

Hello Dear On The Road,
I really am sorry that your not coping well….at the moment.
Awe, no way dear On The Road are you stupid or useless, I think loneliness has a bigger impact on our lives then depression has a lot of times and it makes us try to believe we are useless, stupid, unworthy and so many other things…but these are just thoughts and not true…
You help so many people on these beautiful forums by your inspirational work, helping them to move forward towards there quest for a better life…that is not useless nor stupid..that is nothing less then pure gold from your heart….you are a beautiful, caring, compassionate and kind person…
Do you want to share a bit more about why your feeling the way you are right now?…
Please On The Road, I know it’s hard to do, but please try to give yourself the same kindness, care and compassion you give to our community members to yourself, and not be so hard on yourself…
Thinking of you with kindness and care, dear On The Road, we care and are hear to help support you through this…like you are for so many other beautiful community members..
Hugs..
Grandy..

Hi OTR
I'm sorry things aren't going well for you lately.
How are you caring for yourself? It's important to do things that keep you healthy as you can.
often it helps just to put things you are feeling & thinking into words. I have found naming a feeling makes the feeling seem smaller. When I began naming my feelings for being the fear, hurt & anger they were, they all felt more managable after that.
I'm not sure now, so I'd like to ask if you have anyone in your life to talk to about the problems you are dealing with? If you would rather talk than write, would you prefer to talk to BB's counsellors? (1300 224 636)

Hello OTR
How have you been? I'm sorry I haven't been around to this Discussion of yours lately.
Were you told how long it would take to change your status, as it appears here?
No matter to me, really, in my mind everyone here is a champ.
Good night & pleasant dreams to you & everyone
Hugzies

Hi Mekitty,
How's going recently? Happy Easter! 🐰
I wasn't told whether my status would be changed immediately, but now it seems this title would be staying with me for a bit longer 🙂 I didn't have enough time to write a certain number of posts but I'm happy to stay here and continue to reply to people.

Hey OTR, Happy Easter to you too. Here's a bouncy mmMarshmallow Bunny for you. Sorry for all the desicated coconut on your windscreen, in the seats, front & back...
I was offered the chance to become a Community Champion, but I was, even as I was considering it, realising there are times I simply don't cope well with some of the distressing things I have read. & there have been times I feel too involved & need to step back.
I prefer doing what I can without feeling there is any pressure, implied or real, if I was a Community Champion.
& now, for a while, my memory has been getting worse, & I don't keep up with who said what where or when... I'm not getting around the forums as I once did.
The changed forum itself has caused me some problems too.
Meanwhile, I am continuing to eat much more healthily than I used to. I have two support workers who tak e me out to do things. One takes me to Sporting Wheelies where I can get in some good exercise twice a week. That gets me out of my flat more often. I continue to go grey & my hair is falling out (I think) too quickly. I enjoy geeling I am getting some muscles now. That's something I like very much. & my PDr has rescheduled our appointment next week to another time & day, which causes me anxious feelings about what's happening for him, which he won't tell me, which is how it should be.
Other than that, I'm rather boring.
How about you? Anything else going on in your life you would like to talk about?
Hugzies

Hi Mekiity,
You'd definitely be a great Community champion if you accepted the role, but I understand that sometimes it could be quite overwhelming reading those posts and trying to follow up on things.
I've realized that I've been forgetful recently as I have to keep notes on my phone, that wasn't an issue to me years ago... It feels like I have been being numbed somehow
and I feel the same about the newer version of this forum... 😂
