Hello,
This is my first time here, and i want to vent out my frustrations while also getting some advice if anyone has any.
I have recently moved states and (although i have some family here) my parents and siblings are a little bit scattered around QLD to Sydney, and Perth.
Also all of my friends are back in Perth (where i lived since i was 5yo).
But anyway, i have been having issues seeing myself worth, relying on social media to give me some kind of guidances and maybe even some stability. While also filling up my quiet days with tv or movies that i have watched a million times.
At this point idk what I'm doing with myself throughout the day and at this point in my life, bc i always wanted to get out of Perth and expand my horizons but right now i feel stuck.
The only place i go to outside of work and home (and all the shopping i do), is my painting class, but by December that will be finished and moneys a little tight for next term (maybe term 2).. forgive me for all the rambling, but that is mostly it. i am hoping maybe someone might have a different perspective, because i can only see negativity right now.
Thank you

Hello, welcome and thanks for sharing.
Moving away from friends and most of your family is a big thing! It makes sense you’re feeling stuck and a bit lost. Using social media and old shows for comfort is totally normal. I would do that too.
Your painting class is already awesome. What sort of work do you do? (if I can ask.) Are you friends with people from work? Perhaps small things like joining a local meetup, or keeping in touch with family and friends through quick chats can help. I remember long ago when I moved to the city from Townsville. The first while was weird. Not sure if I was homesick. I was going to Uni and had to endure it. ...
Most importantly, be gentle with yourself. You’re in a big transition and it’s okay that it feels messy. You’re not stuck forever, just in a rough patch that will pass as you build new routines and connections. Listening if you want to chat more.

I understand that you have moved from Perth to Sydney, and sometimes being in a new environment can be daunting. i hope that this isn't to bold but could I ask your age? i am looking for more online friends and i am in the same predicament, I am at home all day and don't work due to medical reasons.
