hello and welcome.

I like Lord of the Rings as well.... have the movie and play the MMO as well.

School and grades can be stressful. After grade 12, I did not get into Uni. Instead a went to TAFE. This was in the late 1980s. And there I  found a different path... and one that got me into Uni. My son and daughter did not got to Uni. For the work they do it was/is not required. And if they want to go later in life, that's OK. In the years after school and Uni, people won't "care" about how you did at school.

At the time when you are in school, I am very aware that it is a big deal - more evident in my daughter. I know when I did not get into Uni I felt like a failure. We put so much pressure on ourselves to do well. There is no one right or wrong way. If you want to talk more ....

What do you want to do after school?

Hello and welcome Bear,

It’s really nice to hear about you as a person and your interests. I recognise John Williams and Hans Zimmer as film score composers. When I was younger one of the things I thought I might like to be was a film score composer and they were two of the people whose work I admired. I play guitar too and used to write my own songs and I want to get back into it. I’m very likely on the autism spectrum but have not been formally diagnosed. I’m quite a bit older (50) but remember being your age and happy to chat if you want to at anytime.

Do you write some of your own music or songs? It’s so great to have the interests that you do. I enjoyed watching the original Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy when it was on TV many years ago when I was a kid.

Best wishes, Eagle Ray
