Hey Lilly,
Sorry to hear that your struggling at present. What your experiencing is quite normal but I am sure things will turn around.
You mention that you have a big workplace problem. You don't have to tell us what the problem is but is your employer aware of the situation and have you spoken to your employer about a possible resolution to your problem? Having open and honest dialogue/correspondence is always beneficial in these types of situations.
You mention you have no support. Do you have any workplace colleagues your close to or any friends and family that your able to discuss your matter with?
You are extremely brave and courageous as posting on these forums and expressing your emotions in a public sphere takes a great deal of courage and bravery.
My thoughts are with you and I know you will get through this.
You may want to try a few of these techniques to help you relax and slow your heart rate and your mind from going a million miles an hour:
1) Deep breaths! Yes, cliche but slow deep steady breaths in and out works.
2) Minimise your consumption of caffeine and sugar.
3) Get enough rest and physical activity.
4) Follow the 3-3-3 rule: Look around you and name three things you see. Then, name three sounds you hear. Finally, move three parts of your body -- your ankle, fingers, or arm. Whenever you feel your brain going 100 miles per hour, this mental trick can help centre your mind, bringing you back to the present moment.
Hope this helps Lilly.
Nick.
