I need help, I have been so unwell now for over a year, I am stuck in a cycle where my mental illness makes me worse and worse and unable to earn money and take care of myself, but i won't pull out of this without help, and I simply cannot afford it.
I'm ready to get better, but I can't do it alone. What are my options? Therapy wise? Medically? If I don't get help soon, i'm afraid ill lose everything, my home, business, friends.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Enigma~
I could not find your
first two posts so will treat this as the start and welcome you here to the Forum.
You are right to think it is a pretty good place to come to, there are many
here, myself included, who have had similar problems and would like to help.
The idea of being unable to keep things together and lose your home, business and friends is a very great worry and asking about help is very sensible. I found I could not improve at all without the correct medical help. I took far too long to see the doctor and ended up in a worse mess than I probably needed to as a result.
Most people start off by visiting their GP and asking about a Mental Health Plan. If you are eligible this lets you get a Medicare Rebate on charges for up 10 visits per year from a health professional like a psychologist. This dose not mean they are free as many charge more than the basic rebate amount though sometimes one can find ones that bulk-bill.
I found therapy and medication was most definitely needed and wished I’d gone earlier. Really speaking your health has to be your main priority at the moment even if it is stretching things to meet any costs. When you have improved you will be in a much better place to deal with any problems that have come up.
Would you like to come back and say more? Perhaps how you feel, and what your life is like. Most importantly is there anyone to care about you and offer support? My partner made a huge difference to me.
