Hi Cookie Monster,
I have a friend who has been diagnosed with having traits of BPD. I think the best thing that you should do (and what I have done) is research as much as you about the disorders. While google is a good resource, it's more beneficial to talk to a counsellor or psychologist who will give you accurate and reliable information.
Also, just a head's up, you should be prepared for some unexpected behaviour in the future. It's important to remain patient, understanding and try to understand her needs.
People with ADHD and BPD need to be treated gently, and in the future going to therapy as a family might also be a good option š
