OK Its been 3-4 weeks since I joined this site. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety 20 years ago. Im 37 and over it.
A few weeks ago I took a overdose and went to emergency and started the mental health process (prev only seeing gp's for scripts). Now I'm weaning off a pretty hard drug and starting the new one whilst being prescribed.
I binge drink twice a week that leads me to very dangerous life threatening positions which I need to stop NOW.
I
self harmed last week and went back up to ER, still no admission to the mental health unit. Apparently I don't need to be admitted there and its best I stay as a outpatient. I've since had 2 x app's with new shrink confirming meds and tweaking meds. I know these next few weeks at least are going to be very hard but I NEED to go to a health retreat for some sanity.
I have googled various places and do not have $5000-$2000 a week.
I just want some where where I can relax, meditate, eat healthy, maybe group meetings, and just so somewhere where my meds are distributed to avoid
self harming my self again. I have everything to live for but not much want or will for it.
Please, does anyone know a health retreat that aids mental health where I can go for a week maybe get a massage along the way to help my very tight muscles and learn how to relax without alcohol or prescription drugs?????
