Hey Lilacsky8,
That's a good question. One suggestion might be to ask your doctor explicitly what is confidential and what isn't, if you're unsure and want some clarification. Right now, the most important thing is keeping yourself safe and it's important that you feel safe to share openly within your appointments. It's a very brave thing to do.
Do you have any other supports that you see? It sounds like it could be a good time to link in with them, too - especially if it is something you're carrying by yourself at the moment. You deserve to have some support while you navigate this. You're always welcome to reach out to any of the above listed services, too.
Starting small, is there anything you have planned for the weekend that you're looking forward to or that can help you feel safe?
We're here to support you 💙
Kind regards
Sophie M

When you speak to your GP it would be a good start to discuss options there.
In the meantime here is some information that may be helpful to your question.

I didn’t end up going to the doctor due to medical trauma. I haven’t mentioned it to my psychologist because of how she’d respond. Whilst I’m not feeling as bad as I was in February I’m still really struggling with past medical trauma and other events. I’m wanting to work on my mental health and talking to someone about this trauma. My anxiety and depression is really persistent. I’m not sure what support to get with this.

Thank you for the reply on my post. Might bring some of the trauma stuff to my psychologist. Maybe something like art therapy might help.
