Hi all,
Today was a bad day for me. I just call them "bad days" - it simplifies it for me.
On bad days when I'm feeling particularly teary (like today), I like to watch one of my go-to movies when my depression is at the front of my mind. Mostly, it's to help me cry at something other than myself.
Some of my go-to movies:
- Extrelemy Loud and Incredibly Close
- Crash
Do you have go-to movies for bad days?

I am a sucker for a feel good romance on bad days; You've Got Mail, While you were Sleeping, Sabrina, Bed of Roses, Pride and Prejudice the bbc tv series with Colin Firth, Becoming Jane, City of Angels, Ghost,...
I also love Pitch Perfect.

Me too Carol, I like the Sabrina movie with Audrey Hepburn. Pride and Prejuduce and also Emma, Mansfield Park.
Another favourite of mine is "Sissy" it is in English subtitles and has beautiful scenery of lush green hills and such.
Driving Miss Daisy, Ladies in Lavender, Anne of Green Gables, Sound of Music.
It's a wonderful life is an old one, I think, but it has a inspiring message especially when you are feeling sad.
And... Finding Nemo, Walle ( incorrect spelling there) and Garfield, are very chill out cute ones.

Hey Shell,
I mentioned to you before but Monarch of the Glen is a tv series but another one of my go to feel good shows. It is a drama but very funny and has beautiful characters. It is set in the Scottish Highlands and the scenery is breathtaking xx

Hi!
Following this post!
Whenever I have a bad day I reach for the newest comedy. Good comedies are so hard to find now but love and watched most of what is on this list. I used to work at a video store so that was a great bonus!
My go-to is usually Pinterest (eep) but if I do watch something it's usually TV. Last few that I saw and loved were The Good Wife, The Office (US) and Parks and Recreation.

Haha romantic thi3f,
I often get "lost" in pinterest.
I have just decided to go retro and am going to watch some classic feel good comedies; Cool Runnings is top of my list.
What other retro comedies do people love?

Hi Paul,
I have been meaning to watch that since I saw the new one. I know it's got Dudley Moore in it. I must find a copy. I had friends who saw the original who hated the new one but I did get a laugh from the new one. I especially liked his collection of cars.
Good one Paul!

I LOVE THIS TOPIC!
Lie to Me: Just loved getting lost in the characters lives and secretly hoped they'd come to my house and figure me out. Especially Gillian, she seemed to be able to sort anyone out.
thanks
